1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?
Not really. I’m don’t mind watching them but I rarely choose to watch them. Unless you consider racing a sport because I never miss a NASCAR race and I usually try to catch Drag Racing on Sundays.

2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?
Well, if you continue with the racing theme I’d have to say John Force for drag racing, Tony Stewart for NASCAR and Boris Said for the twisties. 😉

3. Are there any sports you hate?
Ummmmm, golf. Boring to watch. Okay to play with a few good friends and some drinks. But even then I lose interest quickly unless I get to drive the cart.

4. Have you ever been to a sports event?
Yes, I’ve been to a few baseball games… A few Dodgers games and a Pirates game. I’ve watched a lot of the Bakersfield hockey team play when my best friend in high school had season passes. I’d have to say that the hockey games were my favorites.

5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?
Between 4th grade and graduating high school I played volleyball, basketball, soccer, and ran track and cross country.

So, Blogger seems to be down more than it’s up lately so I’ve decided to change to B2 which already seems to be a MUCH better program. It’s a PHP program that runs on my MySQL server so I can comtrol much more of it. Plus the added features are WONDERFUL. It has a search feature, a comment section (I expect everybody to use!!), emotions (or smilies, whatever you want to call them) built in, a catagory section so that you can check all posts by catagory if you’d like… I should have done this a looooooong time ago. 😀

BUT – All of my old blogs are odviously not going to work so I archived all of them and you can still read them by clicking the ‘archive’ link below. Amazing concept, huh? 😉

Well, the cherry site is up. It’s not done but I wanted to get it up to motivate myself to finish it. Now that I’ve spent time on it I’m not sure how much I like it. *shrug* We’ll see how it goes.

I’ve updated the bio’s. I combined all the content into one page called ‘content’. Go figure. I added a quote page with *whoah* one whole quote!! I’ll add more as I come across them or as I find/live them.

So yeah, expect the cherries not to last long. I actually have a new layout in mind already. Something more colorful and stuff. I wish I could make my dang mind up!

YAY! This is my first blog entry from my new computer! We finally got all the components I needed. Wednesday we got me a nice 17″ ViewSonic monitor, Thursday found a NICE used computer desk, then last night I threw the computer together, installed Windows and I have my own computer back!!! YAY!!

I will get the new layout up this weekend. Ben has a lot of work to do because the newest ATI card came out and they have a lot of testing to do so I’ll have some free time on my hands.

Cassidy had her first homework assignment tonight. It took us an hour to finish it. She had to write the letter ‘B b’ three times and color and cut out all the pictures on a page that started with the letter B and glue them to another page.

It’s funny how she kept getting the letter H and the letter B mixed up. We take for granted as adults this knowledge that is so challenging to a 5 year old. I’m going to try and find her some flash cards to help her learn the letters better.

So, from now on we will have homework every Monday and Wednesday night. I’m excited and a little put off at the same time. Hopefully she will get a better hang of it and it will start to go a little faster.

Okay so I totally love this layout. Love it, love it, love it. BUT! For some reason I feel like I need to change it again. heh. The recent picture will give you an idea of what’s in store. Sheesh, I just can’t stay with one thing for long. *shrug*

In other news, I had to turn the heater on in the car for the first time this morning. It was coooold outside. I welcome the cool weather. Gives you more reason to snuggle at night.

WEEKEND RECAP!!

I felt kinda sickly again this weekend so I didn’t really do a lot.

Saturday I woke up to breakfast in bed. Yummy ham, mushroom and cheese omelet. Mmmmm Ben makes really really yummy omelets. Then he got up and did a deep cleaning on the kitchen while I slept. Sheesh, I have the best boyfriend ever!

Sunday we were lazy again. Did some laundry, took turns playing Splinter Cell… We had a REALLY lazy weekend.

This morning I woke up feeling a LOT better. Tons of energy and looking forward to getting Cassidy back!!

I got a JOB! Can you say a big WOOOHOOOOOOOO for me!!!

Anyway, I went into Best Buy Wednesday and filled out thier ‘online’ application. Then that very same day they called Ben, who I had listed as a contact, and then they called me. I was invited to the ‘Job Fair’ today at 10am. They were doing interviews and about 4 people went before me. They all got told that they would hear from them. I was interviewed for about 15 minutes and the lady said, ‘I’d like to offer you a job here at Best Buy.’ I almost jumped on the poor lady.

So, I am going to take the drug test tomorrow and then orientation is next Saturday. I will start out part time but they are going to change some part time employees to full time at the beginning of the next month and whoever works the hardest between now and then gets to move up to a full time position with better pay. I’m gonna work my butt off and knock the socks off of them and I *will* have one of those full time positions!

I am very excited because the lady that interviewed me made it seem like there is a lot of room for advancement so I should be able to work my way up the ladder. YAY for Anna!!!
