And that’s all I have to say about that.

*deep tired sigh*

I’ve been going back and forth about posting about last weekend’s incident. I’ve become quieter in my older age and while I still have VERY STRONG IN ALL CAPS FEELINGS about things, I’ve been more aware about what I post online because, honestly? I just don’t have the patience to try and help people see things differently.

So all I’ll say on that matter is this. Nobody in our country should be shot when they’re just out there living their lives.

(In a shock to nobody, this is not all I say.)

There has been 20 school shootings this year that resulted in injuries or deaths. According to Gun Violence Archive, as of the time of publishing this 778 children (aged 0-17) have been killed by gunfire. 2137 were injured.

We still have half a year to go.

So as you see the base rally around this act, remember that those same people have been bloodying their thumbs to tell you about the 2nd amendment and how some old men who owned people 237 years ago believed that we have an unalienable right to own guns so that if the government does something that really pisses us all off, we can use our guns to stop them.

Which is exactly what just happened and ya’ll seem pretty Big Mad about it.

Hey Siri, define hypocrisy.
