SUPER SATURDAY!

Saturday morning I was all LETS LAY IN BED ALL DAY AND DO NOTHING AT ALL AND BE LAZY!

And Ben was all NO, LETS GET UP AND TAKE THE DOGS TO RUN AT THE SCHOOL!

And Danica and Kumo were all SCHOOL! SCHOOL! SCHOOL! RUN! RUN! RUN! YYEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHH!

Park Panorama

So we took them over to one of the high schools and let them run. Our dog park is pretty awesome but the sand has really been tearing up Kumo’s paws. He has very sensative skin, don’t ya know, and the grass was much better for his feet. However, I’m a little concerned the way he skids on the wet grass to catch a ball will hurt his hips. Danica LOVED the grass plus all the new smells so I’m sure we’ll go there again. She pooped there and that’s pretty much her seal of approval.

Happy dog!

Then we came home and in an attempt to regain My Lazy I took an hour long bath. It was glorious.

Then as soon as I got out Ben was all THE GUY STILL HAS THE COUCHES THAT WE SAW SUPER CHEAP ON CRAIGSLIST LETS GO AND BUY THEM YEAH!

And so we did. Only “we did” took about 5 hours and required renting a uHaul, a trip to the bank, loading REALLY HEAVY COUCHES in the truck, me taking a wrong turn in the uHaul, then unloading the REALLY HEAVY couches and then taking the old couches to the dump.

Not going to complain too much though because they are in really good shape and the dude had them listed for $150 and then told us we could have them for $100 if we could get them out RIGHT NOW. I ended up giving him $120 for helping us move them out of his place and into the truck and for his generally being a really nice guy.

New (to us) couches!

Then I was all I AM GOING TO SIT ON THIS NEW COUCH AND BE LAZY NOW.

And Ben and Cassidy were all WE ARE GOING TO STARVE TO DEATH! FEED US, WENCH!

So they went to the grocery store for fixins and I cooked soyrizo and eggs (which I will be posting a recipe of soon).

And then I was all NO REALLY, LAZY TIME NOW!

And I went to bed.

The End.

(I warned you before this daily posting thing was going to be a little boring. I totally didn’t lie.)

  1. ohhh, i hate days like that! bah.

i totally had the opposite kind of day today. i woke up (after getting an extra hour, yeah!) and felt great, rested and ready to tackle the day! i had so much planned. i showered, went and ran errands and was planning on doing a lot more this afternoon but then a headache from hell kicked in and all the motivation i woke up with this morning went flying out the window… ugh. i’ve been fighting it all day but i’m about ready to crawl into bed early tonight and catch up on some dvr.

those sofas really are totally great for that price though! awesome find!

  2. It really sounds like a good productive type of day 🙂 Those are my favorites, I think. You do stuff, but nothing extraordinary and yet you end up with a feeling of accomplishment that can’t really be beat.

I love that you mentioned soyrizo and eggs! My dad loves cooking it for breakfast and it tastes soo much like normal chorizo but it’s so much less greasy! It’s quite amazing. Omnomnom.
